Entitled 'Retro-spective' - this was be my first solo exhibition outside of my home town of Peterborough. It gave me a lot of excuses to spend time in Brighton, which is probably my favourite place in the world. The first day of the exhibition, I went for a walk and a seagull did his 'business' on my shoulder...Now that's a good omen surely?
A few of my pieces remain on display in the hallowed corridors of the hotel which is humbling. They have fresh artists exhibiting regularly, so there is always something new to see. Even without the exhibitions, the decor in itself is jaw dropping. I would urge anyone visiting Brighton to visit the hotel, if not to stay, just to have a drink as the interior is incredible and unique.
